Rikki Winters: Helping Busy Founders and Nonprofits Run Smoother Operations

I currently have three openings for new Business Operations Consulting clients and would love to support more founders, nonprofits, and small-business leaders who need reliable back-office help.

This week, after 24 years of marriage and supporting my sailor through 16 moves, my husband will officially be retired from the Navy. As we step into this new chapter together, I’ve been thinking about how the lessons from military life continue to shape the work I do today.

For over two decades, I’ve helped organizations and entrepreneurs bring order to chaos. First as Operations Director for the Military Spouse Business Association, where I supported thousands of military spouses and veterans, and now through my Business Operations Consulting practice. Whether it’s a veteran-owned business, a growing nonprofit, or a small-business founder, I provide the reliable back-office support that lets leaders focus on what they do best.

What I Actually Deliver

I offer practical, hands-on Business Operations Consulting and Executive Assistance tailored to real life — especially the kind that involves frequent change, limited time, and big responsibilities.

  • Workflow & Project Management – I build systems (like Asana setups) that keep everything from falling through the cracks, even during busy seasons or moves.
  • Administrative & Executive Support – Scheduling, document management, research, relationship tracking, and business development tasks so you’re not buried in the details.
  • Special Projects – Event coordination, travel planning, board support, compliance help, and strategic launches — whatever gap needs filling.

My clients consistently rate the quality of work, communication, and results 5 out of 5. One shared, our organization “would not be where it is administratively if it were not for Rikki’s professional services and advice.” Another said simply, “You are the best!”

Why My Approach Works

Military life taught me adaptability, attention to detail, and how to get things done under pressure. That same mindset helps me quickly understand a client’s needs and create solutions that actually fit, whether you’re a nonprofit leader balancing a full-time job, a veteran building something new, or a small business owner ready to scale.

If you’re tired of things slipping through the cracks or spending too much time on admin work, let’s talk. Whether you need ongoing support or help with a specific project, I tailor everything to your goals and reality.

I’m especially grateful to my current clients, your trust and feedback mean everything as we enter this new season.
